Tamara Dixon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Tamara Nachay Dixon was born September 28, 1990. She entered her eternal rest on Thursday, June 9, 2022. She was a graduate of Westside High School. Tamara was well-known in Anderson as a very talented braider and enthusiastic sports mom. She brought fun and laughter to those who loved her and lived her life to the fullest. Tamara’s smile, lively personality and sense of humor brightened every room she entered. She will be greatly missed. Tamara was preceded in death by two grandmothers: Mammie Tucker and Maydell Dixon; and her grandfather, Joe Louis Osbey. She leaves to cherish fond memories: her handsome son, Jimmar (Tank) Boston, Jr.; her loving parents, Phyllis and Lester Beatty, Andrew White, Phillip Dixon and Quentin Tucker; three sisters, Sandia Dixon, Shamika Glenn, Quinyatta Ware; three brothers, Phillip Dixon, Jr. (Jackie Harling), Christopher Dixon (Neesha Hickman), Nicholas Dixon (Sade Scurry); her grandmother, Paulette (Ernest Gaines); three aunts, Melanie Osbey, Michelle Jones, and Nicole Osbey; her boyfriend, Lorenzo Curry; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service for Ms. Dixon will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Royal Baptist Church, Anderson, SC. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery, Anderson, SC. The funeral service will stream -live from The Unity Mortuary Facebook page. Public viewing will be Monday, June 13, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday (the day of the funeral service) from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.
