Richard Keese

Funeral service for Mr. Keese will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 11:00 am at The Unity Mortuary of Anderson with Reverend Odell Burns, officiating. Richard Dennis Keese, age 62, was born February 28, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA. He departed this life on September 1, 2021. He was the son of Elizabeth Diane Keese and the late James Keese Jr. Richard attended and played football at Pendleton High School, where he received the nickname “Bulldog”. He later obtained the GED. Richard was a mechanic and a very talented artist. With his artistic ability, he created all of the artwork used when his father was inducted into the East Coast Drag Racing Hall of Fame in 2010. Other hobbies he enjoyed were playing cards at the Senior Center. Richard is survived by one daughter, Tiffany Dyan Keese of Belton, SC; his mother, Elizabeth Diane Keese; three brothers, a very devoted brother, Ronnie of Pendleton, SC, Randall of Atlanta GA, and Timothy of Pendleton SC; one sister, Roxanne Keese-Johnson of Powdersville SC; three nieces, Alexis of Piedmont,SC, Robyn of Anderson, SC, and Albany Keese of Pendleton SC; four nephews, James, Wesley, Timothy, and Jason; one great niece, Zoey Levine of Anderson, SC; three sisters-in law, Carolyn (Ronnie) Keese, Vanessa (Rory) Keese,, and LaVon (Timothy) Webb. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his younger brother, Rory Keese. The family is at their respective homes.
