Mae Frances Lomax

September 21, 1949 - November 1, 2021

The Funeral Ceremony Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Lomax will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 3:30 pm at The Unity Mortuary of Anderson with Minister Rae Sherman, eulogist. Public viewing will be Friday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Mae Frances Lomax was born September 21, 1949 to the late Clemon Harris and Laddie B. Thompson. She attended Westside High School and was a member of Mount Herman Baptist Church. She retired from Burger King in 2012. She was always smiling and laughing in the kitchen cooking, no matter what time of day it was. She was always happy and loved to play bingo. Mae Frances leaves to cherish fond memories, her husband of 48 years, Sylvester Lomax of the home; two daughters, Marita Lomax and Taurus Lomax; one son, Lewis Lomax, Jr. of Anderson, SC; one sister, Elizabeth Moss of Anderson, SC; two brothers, Johnny Harris of Virginia and Ernest Harris (Lynn) of Anderson, SC; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she predeceased by her brothers, Ronnie, Clemon, and Jessie Harris, and Rochester Harris and a daughter, Beverly Ann Lomax. The family is at 203 Miracle Mile Drive, apt 164, Anderson, SC 29625.
