The Unity Mortuary of Anderson announces the passing of Elvira Harris Burton, age 71, of 19 Q Street, Anderson, SC on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. The family is at 19 Q Street, Anderson, SC 29625. Family and friends will gather at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2017 to celebrate her life at the United House of Prayer for All People, Anderson, SC, 619 E River Street, Anderson, SC 29621 with interment to follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at 19 Q Street, Anderson, SC 29625. Elvira was born December 8, 1945 to the late Will and Corrie Lee Clinkscales Harris in Anderson, SC. Elvira is survived by her sons, Oscar (Jessie Lynn) Harris, James Harris, Kenneth Harris, Telly Burton all of Anderson, SC; and Jesse (Tameka) Burton of Greenville, SC; three daughters, Vanessa Burton, Angela (Curt) Campbell, Vranda Burton of Anderson, SC; thirteen - grandchildrens; Kenya Burton, Kevira Bell, Kamaje Bell, Chiara Wideman, Arsenio Burton, Tiffany Harris, Kelcey Harris, Tara Harris, Lashauna Scotland, Kenchez Ware, Jayla Burton, Jahlil Burton, Joshua Burton; twelve - great- grandchildrens; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Charles Burton; three sisters, Alice Lomax, Annie Frances Harris and Gennive Harris; five brothers, Claude (Railroad) Brownlee, John Henry Harris, James Harris, George Harris and Benjamin Will Harris.
